Fast Video Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town 0 – 3 Chelsea – Maurizio Sarri made a winning start as a Premier League manager as his Chelsea side produced a dominant performance to win at Huddersfield Town.

A perfect start for Maurizo Sarri and Chelsea. Goals from NGolo Kante, a Jorginho penalty and Pedro give Chelsea a much deserved win over Huddersfield. The Terriers never looked like getting back into the game as Chelsea cruised to the three points.

Sarri, who became the clubs 10th full-time manager in 10 years when he replaced the sacked Antonio Conte in the summer, saw his side take the lead with their first shot on target.

It came in the 34th minute when NGolo Kantes mis-hit strike from Willians cross bounced past Huddersfield goalkeeper Ben Hamer.

Jorginho followed Sarri from Napoli to Chelsea in the summer and the midfielder doubled the Blues lead when he converted a penalty after Christopher Schindler fouled Marcos Alonso.

Pedro sealed a comfortable win with a cool, chipped finish for Chelseas third after being played in by substitute Eden Hazard.

Before the second goal, the Terriers had hit a post through Steve Mounies header, but it was to be Sarris and Chelseas day.

Huddersfield Town 0 – 3 Chelsea | English Premier League – Match Highlights

34′ 0 – 1 NGolo Kanté scores! Chelsea score with their first shot in the Premier League under Maurizio Sarri. Pedro starts the move and he lays it out to the left wing for Willian. His cross is aimed towards Alvaro Morata but too high for him and finds NGolo Kante at the back post. Kantes shot is mis-hit, but bounces down into the ground and past Ben Hamer. Not the best strike ever, but they all count. Chelsea lead.
45′ 0 – 2 [Penalty Goal] Jorginho slots in Chelseas second. So, so cool from the debutant. Jorginho takes it, a pause in the run-up completely fools Ben Hamer and leaves him flat-footed as the new man slots his penalty calmly into the bottom corner. Its a long way back for the hosts now.

80′ 0 – 3 Pedro makes it three-nil with a lovely breakaway goal. Eden Hazard leads the charge and Huddersfield, pushing to get back in the game, are left short at the back and the Belgian slides it to Pedro. The Spaniard lofts the ball over the advancing Ben Hamer with a lovely finish. Three nil, three points for Chelsea, game over.
